Launch on ElysiumPad
GENESIS runs on HYPE from day one. When the GENESIS token goes live on ElysiumPad, one script turns it on everywhere.
What changes at launch
- GENESIS becomes accepted for fees, bonds, upkeep funding and staking, alongside HYPE.
- GENESIS prices follow the HYPE prices, at the market rate and below it by the GENESIS discount.
- Keepers and operators can qualify with GENESIS stake.
- Holder discount tiers switch on.
Nothing priced in HYPE changes, and nothing in flight is affected.
Running the launch
bash
GENESIS_TOKEN=0x… # token address from ElysiumPad
GENESIS_PER_HYPE=1000 # starting rate (or GENESIS_PRICE_FEED=0x… for a live feed)
GENESIS_PAYMENT_DISCOUNT_BPS=1000 # GENESIS is 10% cheaper
GENESIS_MIN_KEEPER_STAKE=500 # GENESIS minimum for keepers
GENESIS_MIN_OPERATOR_STAKE=500 # GENESIS minimum for VRF operators
npm run launch:elysiumThe script is safe to re-run. It:
- Sets the conversion rate first, so GENESIS is never accepted without a price.
- Sets the GENESIS discount.
- Records the token in the fee manager and in staking. This can only be done once.
- Sets the GENESIS stake minimums.
- Prints the resulting VRF fee in both tokens.
Rehearse it locally
bash
npm run deploy:local
npm run launch:local # deploys a mock GENESIS token and mints it to dev accountsBefore mainnet
Checklist
- Put the fee-manager and staking owners behind a multisig with a timelock.
- Switch from a fixed rate to a price feed once GENESIS trades. A fixed rate drifts with the market.
- Confirm the ElysiumPad token has no transfer tax. Fee-on-transfer tokens are rejected, so every payment would revert.
